Charles Aryee earned his Computer Science degree from Montclair State University, Upper Montclair in New Jersey, with a major concentration in Software Engineering and a minor in Mathematics. Currently, Charles is a software engineering consultant and has been working on projects with ProservCrane Group a crane and hoist manufacturer company since October, 2015. Before his current role, he worked as a Software Analyst with United Airlines after merger with Continental Airlines on October 1, 2011. Charles started his software engineering career in April 2006 with Continental Airlines Technology Division in Houston, Texas as a Systems Software Developer. He has developed numerous applications including Regression Testers, Web Applications, Class Libraries (dll), SharePoint Applications, and Mobile Web Applications to mention few. Charles joined Continental Airlines in September, 1999 as a cargo agent for nearly five years and then worked as customer service agent for almost two years respectively. He was stationed at the Newark Liberty International Airport, New Jersey while working towards his college degree.
Prior to his Bachelor of Science degree, Charles attended Essex County College in New Jersey where he earned two Associate of Science degrees (Computer Science and Mathematics) respectively and he then transferred to MSU. While pursuing his education in ECC, he also engaged himself in extra curriculum activities for being the No.1 soccer goal keeper for the college. His extra activity never stood on his way, in April 2002 he had his first Academic Achievement award by the New Jersey Education Opportunity Fund.
Charles also had a brief US Army service experience in his capacity. He was honorably discharged after sustaining an injury during his service. He also holds NJ substitute teacher license before moving to Texas.
Charles was born in Accra, Ghana in West African where he earned his secondary / technical diploma. He was voted best soccer goalkeeper in 1990 during Inter-High Schools Festival held in Accra. Upon completing secondary / technical school, he then attended Accra Polytechnic where he studied domestic and industrial construction for two years. He was awarded Outstanding Sportsman in 1992 for his spectacular performance during Inter-Polytechnics games held in Kumasi, Ghana. He furthered his education two more years where he majored in Builders Quantity Surveying of London's City & Guilds. He specialized in Measurement, Estimating and Analysis of Prices.
While in Ghana, Charles also worked for Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) at theArchives, Maintenance, and Records Departments respectively. He has been member of Ghana's junior soccer national teams (Under 17 - Starlets and Under 20 - Satellites) Charles has represented Ghana in various international soccer tournaments including 1989 Kodak FIFA U-17 World cup held in Scotland. Other tournaments were held in Brazil, West Germany, Holland, Burkina-Faso, Ivory-Coast, Cameroon, Togo etc. He once played for Ghana's senior national team "Black Stars" in Togo.
The combination of his academic and field experience compelled him to establish "Ayitech Solutions" a software development company with a primary goal is to help individuals, and small businesses as well as new business owners with their tecnological needs. His experience in variety of ethnic backgrounds helps him easily relate to people without any difficulty.
